·        Lehigh Avenue from East Lake Avenue Bridge to Patriot Boulevard

·        Compass Drive from Lehigh Avenue to Patriot Boulevard

 

Stage 2 work includes concrete curb & gutter replacements, sidewalk replacements, milling the existing asphalt surface, paving a new asphalt surface, pavement striping, and other miscellaneous tasks.

 

Work Anticipated to be performed, September 4th to September 7th.

 

·       Tentatively starting to mill the project Tuesday Sept. 4

• once milled the contractor will b e raising structures to apply the final Bituminous Surface

 

 

There will be no full roadway closures, although travel delays are expected as the work is performed.

Next week the contractor will be installing message signs stating the work on Stage 2 will begin on August 6^th.  The road work will begin following the Glenview Park District Triathlon.

·         Phase I construction completed along Shermer Road, West Lake Avenue, and The Glen Town Center

Work to be Performed

·         No work is scheduled for the project until after August 6^th due to the Park Center Triathlon event the previous weekend.

·         The final phase of construction (Phase II) includes Lehigh Avenue from East Lake Avenue Bridge to Patriot Boulevard and Compass Road from Patriot Boulevard to Lehigh Avenue.
