Good News!!! The project is completed and this will be the final blog post for the project. We hope you found the information to be helpful and insightful regarding the current status of the project and upcoming work.

The Village of Glenview will provide surveys in the coming weeks for you to complete regarding the construction work and notifications provided. Please take a few moments to complete this survey. The information will allow us to know what aspects of the project we are doing well at and which areas we need to improve upon in the future.

Stage 2 work includes concrete curb & gutter replacements, sidewalk replacements, milling the existing asphalt surface, paving a new asphalt surface, pavement striping, and other miscellaneous tasks.

 

Work Anticipated to be performed, September 24th to September 28th.

 

·       Paving completed this week on LeHigh and Compass.
 

• Striping on Lehigh and Compass to tentatively begin next week.

 

 

There will be no full roadway closures, although travel delays are expected as the work is performed.

·        Le High Avenue from East Lake Avenue Bridge to Patriot Boulevard

·        Compass Drive from Le High Avenue to Patriot Boulevard

Work Anticipated to be performed, September 17th to September 211st.

 

·       Landscaping should be completed on Monday, weather permitting

• Monday / Tuesday Le High and Compass will be oiled prior to paving. Please keep in mind that once the road is oiled, please drive slowly in the oiled areas, to help prevent the oil from sticking to your cars.
• Tuesday Paving surface will commence, starting at Le High and Patriot and working to the South.
