Phase II Glen Town Center Resurfacing to Begin. West Lake Avenue to be Paved.

Work Performed Last Week, June 4th to June 8th  
·         The Glen Town Center, Phase I: Tower Drive (Navy Boulevard to Chestnut Avenue), Aviator Lane, Wolverine Drive.
o   Mill the existing pavement surface of drive lanes and parking lanes
o   Adjusted structures.
o   Paved new asphalt surface
o   Pavement markings within parking stalls, work started but not finished due to rain event on Friday. Work re-scheduled for next week.
·         West Lake Avenue
o   Completed concrete curb & gutter installation
o   Milled existing asphalt surface
o   Performed necessary patching of asphalt pavement
o   Driveway restoration to retail center and Commuter parking lot near Lily Lane
·         Shermer Road
o   Started landscape restoration work.  Due to time of the year, topsoil and seed will be installed.

Work Anticipated to be performed next week, June 11th to June 15th  
·         The Glen Town Center, Phase II: Tower Drive (Navy Boulevard to West Lake Avenue), Navy Boulevard, Valor Drive, Sable Drive, Chestnut Drive
o   Mill the existing pavement surface of drive lanes and parking lanes (Monday & Tuesday)
o   Adjust structures in preparation for asphalt paving (Tuesday & Wednesday)
o   Pave surface, depending on work progress (Thursday & Friday)
o   Pavement Marking of parking stalls (Friday)
·         West Lake Avenue
o   Pave new asphalt surface (Monday). This work was delayed due to patching required near Lily Lane
o   Pavement Marking
 
Parking Restrictions during construction:
·         The Glen Town Center, Phase II
o   No on-street parking while work is on-going, typically 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM
o   Parking will be allowed when work is not in progress and during nights and weekends.
o   Parking Garages will have access at all times.
o   Areas south of Navy Boulevard will be striped with access to parking.
·         West Lake Avenue
o   No on-street parking while work is on-going, typically 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM
o   Parking will be allowed when work is not in progress and during nights and weekends.

The Glen Town Center is scheduled to be completed in late June. We anticipate all of the paving and parking stalls to have pavement marking; however, there might be some additional work to be completed after the July 4th Holiday.
